It was a track from youtube.
DM the drummer/uploader and ask them to send you the stems.
Tell them you're prepared to pay one hundred Canadian internet dollars...
It was a track from youtube.
Yeah…side-chaining and ducking might be a little advanced for this operationPlace the bass, kick and snare tracks in the centre/center.
Add sidechain compression to bass and kick.

I could not make it work and I deleted it
@mcblink track sounds great; glad this is coming together for you.
I hope to follow this path soon.
Anybody else have input on video editors?
I could not make it work and I deleted it![]()
I spent a week trying to make it work, i gave up…. Tolled it to F***** off lolThat's a common problem for first-time users.
It's usually due to the fact that they haven't gone into settings to match the format and frame rate (fps) to the raw video footage before starting a new project.
LOL
I'm pretty sure LRT wants it too
Okay, both tracks with wah have been boosted 3dB at the 2kHz band:
LRT fixed the desktop monitors, they're actually not too bad! I remember them sounding like crap for some reason.
They're a pair of PreSonus Eris E3.5s. Looks like they got okay reviews..
Anyway...
Here it is again.
Dropped the bass guitar -5.53 dB
Also brought my guitar (wah) track levels back down .46 dB
Put a low pass filter on the drums that cuts around 18.0k
Also panned all tracks 50% each way.
Is this an improvement at all?
Here's the signal chain

Don't, ummmm....don't worry about the mess. We sure as hell don't!
Holy!!! Just listening to the intro…blows me away!
This was before EQ adjustments in the DAW itself...I'm surprised you are getting such a good cut with the mids pulled back like that.
