Recording and production.

Here something I recorded today.

This is double tracked ( I stopped triple tracking) I cant make them tight enough. Left is RR and Right is V. It has a bit of EQ and I mastered it online ( I know its not great)

Chain is..... Guitar drop tuner Boss SD1 Friedman Be-od into DAW.

Do you think guitars sounds tight enough? and how dose it sound on your speakers ( not the phone speakers)

Definitely tightly tracked. I’m picking up a tuning issue later in the track. I’d like to hear a little bit more upper midrange, I think somewhere between 2K and 3K…not much though…maybe 3dB…you’ll know it when you hear it. The lower mids are super tight…digging it.
I’m stuck with my favorite earbuds though…had a big storm…lots of tree damage….no power for the last 40 hours….so I can’t monitor check it.
 :dood:

Blinky picked up on tuning thing too. I have to check it tomorrow.
Can you remember which section on the song?
It could be two things happening

1 I pressed to hard on Floyd bridge and it changed pitch

2 I didn’t check the tuning before tracking when I swapped the guitar as I wanted to finish fast.

I will try to push those frequencies up and lers see what happens.
Thanks for the feed back.

What do you mean by flatter? Sink them deeper into cutaway??
This guy is hard to understand, he must have a speech impediment or something, but it's a pretty straightforward explanation of the "flutter"

EDIT: I now know that this gentleman is deaf. That's why he talks that way. I'd say he talks (and plays, too!) pretty well for a deaf guy! He's got a few other videos on his channel and he's pretty good!

@Thatbastarddon I took on board what you said and made some adjustments. I knew it was lucking clarity but didn't know how to make them more clear. Now that I made adjustments on 2 and 3k region its totally kicks ass.

I also change the section where @mcblink mentioned being sour, I replace both guitars and retuned it before takes. I could not make that noise go away that happens between chord changes.

Any way here is updated version.
