FRIDAY NIGHT RIFFS

MItch, What year is this EPI LP? My Honey Burst is a 2010 I believe. Does yours have Asian or USA wiring/ electrics/pups?
2016 it was a floor demo at GC with a chip in the finish that I got for $300.00 I put a JB in the bridge. And the wiring is those plug in connectors, I remember this well because I had no idea where to solder the leads.
Cheers

Mitch, you may not remember this because it was before you were a member here, plus I might have begun the issue when I was at Everything SG forum,
but my LP had a few flaws I rectified better than the quite qualified Gibson Warranty fella who made an " effort" at correcting the lifting bushings issue I had with the tailpiece. Once I decided to proceed with this, I added the T Tops and had a bone nut installed. This is now over double the $350 the guitar cost me new from the mom and pop shop in my hood.

See how it was lifting up out of the body in the 2nd pic? I glued in some dowels and redrilled them super tight and re-installed the inserts.

I am also top wrapping and now this guitar is one Gib killer. It is even almost like a 70's weight.

Mitch, you are gonna make me want to get my baby out of the luxury penthouse she lives in and fire up the Red Knob Twin and kick the volume up to air things out some,

I know I have posted my beautiful re- foamed and re-veloured Anvil Road case before, but I definitely knew this case was far superior to protect my now expensive LP than just about any stock LP case would be.

This is Stock how my Epi came to me in 2012 before the T Tops.

You can buy short plug in cable sets for the Gibson style pcb boards off eBay for cheap. Then just have to solder 2 wires to your existing pickup leads. (Unless you are running a coil tap, them all 4 wires get soldered)

I just did it for my LP.

I learned the hard way trying to do it blind on my SG. Ended up yanking the whole pcb board out anyhow, it sounds more open and nasty now.y w cents worth.

Mike, I intend to. I just have to knock of some rust due to my practically 24/7 concentration on my mom's stroke recovery. AND to remember how to record and actually make a clip I can DLoad and get to You tube so i can post it here.
We shall wait for your clip.
And after seeing yours , I may have to break mine out as well. I have tuned it back to a440image.jpg
