FRIDAY NIGHT RIFFS

Hey gang. Been a while.
Felt like playing guitar today, for a change.
Here's what I came up with. Forget the noise at the very end, that's not me, but I forgot to trim that out. I think I might continue to work on some of these ideas.

Hahaha I recognise that sound at the dnd.
This one is groover, you should keep working on it. From this piece I get LoG snd Pantera vibes.

Good stuff! Keep tinkering with it and post the results.

How do you like your solar?

Absolutely love them both. The bass might be my favorite 4-string I've ever owned and the guitar is the first one I reach for right now. Need to do a better job dialing in some tones on my Axe FX for the A2.6, but love the sounds I get with it through my MoshAll and my Jet City. Forgot I hadn't posted my review in the NGD thread here, so I just did. Click here to read it.

Had this in my head today, finally got home and showered and into my PJs and got to work it out.

Very heavy! Keep 'em coming!

I still blame you. lol

Ok, I guess I've been under a non-metal rock for so long I've never actually heard this album. I had read, before it came out, that it was the most raw and real Metallica album in a long time.....

This is almost embarrassing. What a Load! :poo:
yea, this album is really bad but there some good riff in this but over all is absolute poop. They tried nu metal poop trend and it didnt work out lol

its hard to imagine this is same Metallica that did amazing things in past.

Yeah. Seems if they stay together long enough, all bands evolve….. regardless of genre. Sometimes for the better and sometimes it makes their long time fans want to puke.

When I bought st. Anger, I was excited to hear it..... I remember listening to it the whole way home on my trucks cd player.... Before I got home I ejected that CD and frisbee'd it out the window doing 85mph down the freeway.
F that album!

YEET!(as my kids would say)
