Tele scratch build

One quick question: you didn't want to have the option of string-through? The Wilkinson bridge can do either. The luthier only charged me $80 (I provided the Aumsen brass ferrule block) to drill the string holes and rout the back for the ferrule block on my Squier. Now I can do string through, topload, or mix-and-match (some people like to topload the treble strings only).

Thanks for the idea. However, have considered this and see no benefit to string through. I don't find a lack of sustain and have doubts as to whether string through adds any. I also like the clean look in the back

I don't think it is a sustain issue really. It's more a feel issue as far as I can tell. It might sound slightly different. I think it was slightly darker with the top-load

Executed very well. Great job!

And addiction to figured woods is a very real thing.

Used to love helping customers select wood.

EDIT : FOR THEIR GUITAR TOPS @syscokid . Smart ass snickering. You got me. :pound-hand::cheers:
