Just a vice you say? No way, this thing is part of the family. I've been around this vice my entire existence....pops gave it to dad.... dad gave it to me. It's well over 100 and In perfect working order. At some point pop made a brace to attach it to the support beam in the basement. Now I need to mount it.

So, that's why it's great!!

Greatness,
The man, the myth, the legend. Ahhhh, it's just the man that passed along the vice. POP!!

Here he is in his IceTruck. Once, in a dispute, he cut off the first selectmen from ice delivery. The selectman had to go to a neighboring town to get his ice for the ice box. Don't mess with pop.

When refrigeration came along, he closed the ice shop and opened up a radiator shop..... and the sign out front read, " Lou's Radiator Shop - A good place to take a leak"

Greatness!!!

This is a great video on songwriting and finding yourself musically. It gets a bit abstract at times, but hey, it is about writing and abstract topics

This is a great cut solution. It disinfects, provides pain relief and forms a hard clear shell like super glue. Get some and keep it in the house. It really seals the cut so you can work without dirt getting in and it re-opening and starting to bleed. Complete life saver for guitarists with a cut finger!! It will have you back playing right away after a moderate slice!

This is the CVS version of New Skin. I think it is superior to the current New Skin formula. Anyway, I have only tried this one and can say it works

The liquid bandage is good stuff. I've used it many times, and CA glue in a pinch.
Only 1 time did I have a cut on a fretting hand fingertip and used the CA glue specifically so I could play.
Worked great.
I think there is a potential issue with CA glue chemicals getting into the bloodstream but dont recall the details.

I can tell you, that you need to be aware of these glues, some of the thin CAs are thin like water and made to penetrate into wood for example. These will BURN! and keep Burning! if you get this on your skin , to the effect you will see smoke.

I wonder how this compares to CA glue. My buddy swears by it, puts it on all his fingertips before every show.

There's some interesting stuff here in this story on the history of CA glue, which I was always told was during WWII for sealing wounds on the field. Turns out that's not accurate, it was intended to be used to make clear gun sights. It was rejected for that purpose, but has found other uses throughout time.

From what I read, regular super glue is a lesser alternative. Most of the liquid bandages have disinfectant and pain killer. They even have medical grade versions for surgery (surgi-seal?)
