Little about myself.

I started playing bass in high school (BC Rich Warlock NJ series- influenced by Blackie Lawless, yes we are talking 80s). After high school I sold the bass (regret it) and bought a 1990 Fender Showmaster (still have it and still my favorite). Taught myself to play. Then I put it all away in early 2000s. When the pandemic hit, I wiped the cobwebs off my gear and picked it up again. Recently played a gig as a fill in on Labor day, that was a ton of fun even through I was having massive anxiety attacks leading up to the show. Did well considering I havent played in front of anyone in over 25 years with only 1 pick drop mid song ... sh*t happens!
As far as gear. I have the following.
1990 Fender Showmaster (my go to ... she is 31 yrs old, but she is still rockin') (standard tuning)
1998 Jackson DK2 dinky MIJ (standard tuning)
