Welcome Back My Friends!

Thanks G, Mr Tuners and Esgee for hanging in there to hear about my struggles after mom's stroke. Update, since Grant broke the site, mom got pissed at her broken brain not able to make her right limbs work and after 2 months in a bed, she lifted her right foot without using her left foot or hand to do so. After the first lift, she gave us over 3 minutes of leg lifts and even alternating legs as if to walk in bed. I took several videos and pics.

Well then, if my breaking the site helped your mom lift her leg, it was worth it!

Welcome back my tone chasing family! Let me start off with apologizing for the outage. It came unexpected at the worst possible time. The hosting company made changes to the version of PHP without informing me and it broke this site. We pay extra to have this site automatically backed up every day. This tool that the web host charges us for did not work! I could not get it to work. The hosting company couldn't get it to work. I had the hosting company restore the site from what's called a snapshot and they failed with that too. Ray to the rescue has a new hosting company for us to move to. Special props to @eSGEe and @RVA for keeping y'all informed and in communication with us TTR folks. Running this site is indeed a team effort!

So now the work has just started, This site is still currently running on the bad hosting company server. My first step before migrating this site was to make sure it works. No good trying to move a broken site and expect it to work on a new server. OK, step 1, the site is running again. Now that the site is back up I can take a bit of time to get it moved over, upgrade the software all in proactive mode, not reactive mode. Some changes are coming but hopefully you won't notice any more interruptions.
In a past life I owned a few high traffic forums. I feel for you. You have to trust your host. They need to test their backup system. They need to let you know before upgrading anything. Thank for all the hours that went into getting the forums back up. I know how panicked that is.

Thank you Wav, I know you have a swear jar over there for collecting new strap funds, so you can finally get a good one now, after the past few days

Seriously, your hard work is appreciated by many.
This was a team effort that I was not able to do by myself. While I was under the hood, Ray and Adrian gave me and ya'll moral support and kept communication lines open. The xenForo team that wrote this software got involved and ultimately got this site visible to the world. We also have a new member join us @AndyB who is one of the programmers that wrote a lot of the software we use on this forum. He is also an avid motorcyclist and.... He plays guitar. Andy is helping me fine tune this talk machine in preparation for our migration to the new server. I thank all of you members that kept coming back. After all without you, the members, there would be no TTR.
