My memory is that this is one song from my foundational songs I grew up on as a guitar fanatic.

I learned this song from that video...
At 1:57, Rick switches to the neck pickup...our host apparently didn't catch it...
I saw where Rick does his switch you mentioned. but others I am sure he does are also in the video clip, they just all are not seen due to the videographer switching points of view or Rick is out of sight.

Ronnie Montrose was criminally underrated as a guitarist but happened to be one of the earlier guys i drew some inspiration off of from listening to them on my dad's albums. Used to play "Rock Candy" actually and dabbled with "Bad Motor Scooter" ( never got to play Space Station No.5, though for some reason lol)ROBERT Any Montrose in your arsenal?

He, like a lot of other great musicians of his time, i feel got lost under the glamour and attention of the bigger names and bands. But that doesnt diminish his incredible talents one iota. He had a raw, pure hard rock sound and style that stacked up with the very best names but for some reason, people today overlook or forget him, which is criminal.Ronnie was the most down to earth rock star. Military haircut...
He would stroll into the crowd in the middle of a song.
Then pick some random person to strum the strings while he fingered the notes and the audience would go nuts ...
He had this one-on-one bond with the people who came to hear him play. He was on stage, but he was right in the middle of the party at the same time.
