The storm turned and headed toward us. It hit us at a Cat 3 near the eye wall. It was a long night but everyone is okay. Back at home it's a mess, the whole city has no power and has damaged water systems but I still feel grateful.

Update: Still displaced and on generator power. Electric power at home is estimated to be restored by 9/8. Phone service is sketchy, Food and gasoline is hard to find... long lines and limited supplies. No damage at my residence but a lot of widespread devastation.

I'm not happy about it @eSGEe . It's heading right for me. Last October we got a direct hit with an almost cat 3 storm. It got crazy around here.
