Haven't really heard anything from them for quite a while, but you'll be glad to hear that they've (supposedly) got a new album due for release in December. Great band to see live. Cheers

Here's another video showing the making of the EF80 type Pentode. Of note, like the EF86, these are often referred to as "mesh plate" type valves, however as can be seen here, this is a misconception. The mesh is actually a screen fitted around the plate to suppress interference.

From these type videos we can see just how much is involved in the making of a quality valve. Hopefully people find these interesting & informative. Cheers
