Hogs are back

And, if you see one of these, plan on your car or truck being wrecked. If you hit them with your car, they get mad, and do more damage than when you hit them.

I don't even know how many times I've almost hit a moose or a deer, so far no actual crashes, almost driven off the road a couple times though, with a :poo:ty old van you never knew where it went once you hit the brakes... Last time I saw one on the side of the road was a week ago (don't drive that much anymore on the country roads so been a while before that).

Check this out, apparently nobody was hurt (except the moose):

Don’t sweat it. These go by a few different names, “sand fleas,” being one of them. But, they aren’t fleas, at all. They’re really just a species of small, sand-burrowing crab.

So, you don’t have to be afraid of an infestation of them at the beach!
I'm the snow queen here, remember? I'm not the biggest fan of beaches and those things don't help change my mind.

Those tricksy mooses like to stand in the middle of the highway at night and make cars crash cause no one but I can see there dark brown bodies. When I see one I don't tell dummy. It's fun to see him freak out.

Fishers are my friends. River otters and Mr. Mink are too.
