OK, so the p'ups are swapped. SD Alnico II Pros are in. Peavey stock pickups are out.
Looks great and sounds great. A win-win.

I took a pic with the pickups out. It is a bit hard to see due to the angle but as I guessed earlier, the maple cap is a 1/2" thick.

Also, one thing I meant to mention earlier but forgot.
The truss rod cover is made of rosewood as far as I can tell. It is a chocolate brown colour all the way through and is perfectly smooth on the face but somewhat rough and unfinished on the back.

One thing that is a bit puzzling is the serial number. I have owned 2 Peavey Wolfgangs and the s/n were stamped into the back of the headstock. I also owned an HP2 for a while but can't recall the serial number placement. The only place the serial number is present on this is on a label located on the control cavity cover.

Thanks for the shot of the bridge. That break angle is very close to what I have on my Gibsons with the top wrap.

I agree. I have 3 LPS and all are top wrapped. The angle is very similar.

Update: Been playing the Peavey for a while now and it is a great feeling beast. It sounds great, too! I can't wait to finally get to a jam night to really let 'er rip!

UPDATE: The Peavey is a great playing guitar and looks fabulous. However, due to a bad case of GAS, I have moved it along in an effort to obtain a guitar I have been lusting after for quite some time. Just got a 2007 PRS SC245 Core! NGD thread to follow!

Congratulations on the new PRS.

Must have been a tough decision...... I sure don't see a Peavey like that too often.
