The old Ford in my pic had m-50 15’s on the rear and e-70 14’s on the front, and coil over shocks out back to give it a little rake.
The wife and kids 2 at the time went to the Rose Parade in that thing.
I had a BW TV in it and that was how we watched the parade ha ha we were both hung over.

Funny thing about that matador. Had a 360 4bbl dual exhaust. Ordered it with a 3.54 rear gear. Only car I’ve owned that I actually ran out of RPMs. 6 grand was about 115mph. Lifters we’re starting to float. Anyway. With the big bias ply meats on the back, 15-20mph I had no problem breaking them loose. Eventually sold the wheels and tires and put radials on the stock rims. Actually turned the car into a dog. Even had a hard time breaking them loose from a standing start they had so much traction. That car accelerated harder with spinning tires that it did hooked up.
