So, my guitars and gear are temporarily out of my reach. I only got my Washburn parlor size acoustic with me. Since it’s a model with easy reach until the 12th fret playing electric songs on it isn’t very good, I’d have to keep soloing in the lower shapes of the scales.

I am making the best of these :poo:ty weeks to practice easy acoustic songs just to pass the time. The acoustic vibe also reminds me of the seaside, which I love and miss so much. I gave this little guitar a quick setup (filed the nut and gave the truss rod a tweak, now it plays better).

Hands down, the following:
1) Seasons of Wither- Aerosmith
2) Silent Lucidity- Queensryche
3) Wish You Were Here- Pink Floyd
4) Nutshell- Alice In Chains
5) Wonderwall- Oasis ( surprising coming from me huh? Lol)

These would be the ones I’ve been working on. Not 100% sure I’d do all acoustic…. But no real reason not to:
Rockin in the free world - Mr. Young

Sound of Silence - S & G

You’re so sweet - Neil Diamond

Lucky man - ELP

Into the great wide open - Petty

Paradise - John Prine, Jimmie Buffett version

Behind Blue Eye - The Who

Another Saturday Night - Cat Stevens or whatever he calls himself now.

So, Sergio…

The first thing that comes to mind is wondering why you’re in quarantine. The obvious assumption is the coronavirus. Are you sick or were you just exposed to someone else?

How are you feeling?

It’s a reverse quarantine. My father is ill with it and all my electric guitars and gear are locked at his house (no room in the apartment I moved in for now). Can’t go there and bring anything until he’s good

Hope your dad is feeling better and soon!!

Behind Blue Eyes is one of my upper echelon favorites (out of a hundred or so maybe).

So many acoustic songs I want to learn; dont spend enough of my limited time on acoustic.
Only know parts of a few songs including:
Wish you were here,
Bob Seger NIght Moves,
the intro to Zep OVer the Hills and Far Away,
and Beatles And I Love Her.
