My poor dog!

This is Khan. He's a good boy. (Who's a good boy? He's a good boy, yes he is!)

Lately his ears have been getting attacked pretty hard by biting flies.

I feel bad for him.

He doesn't act like it bothers him, but the tips of his ears are all scabbed over. We'll be getting him a repellent and some petroleum jelly to put on his eartips. Apparently the flies won't bite through the jelly. Hopefully that helps the poor guy out. I feel bad for him.

This is Roxy Anne. She's a good girl....but she isn't getting the same treatment from the flies that Khan gets. Not sure why. But I figured that if I was going to post Khan, I'd better post her too, lest she grows angry and does something rash, like eating all my jalapeño poppers again or something...

Just be aware that the hair will get absolutely everywhere, every day. Not a huge problem for an outside dog, but if you plan on having them inside, keeping up on it becomes a daily chore, especially when springtime arrives.
Very well aware. My grandparents had one when I was a kid and it was an inside dog. It would jump up on my shoulders every time I approached the house and knock me down and lock my face. We lived half a block away and I wasn't in school yet.

This is Cole. She is a 16 year old Shepard/Rottweiler mix At least that's what the people said where we got her. We did see the mother which looked like a Shepard and the father that did look like a Rottweiler. Looking at Cole, I think a black lab may have jumped over the fence.

Below is 14 year old Thor. His mother is a pit bull, his father is a boxer. No doubt about his blood line.

Actually, I called it an early night. We were jamming around a little bit earlier, and yesterday we met up with and jammed with a new drummer....which kicked some ass, actually. She's really good, but it'll take a couple/few more sessions to get everyone to kinda feel each other out...

But tomorrow morning I am taking the family, meeting up with my parents and a couple of their friends, and we're gonna float the Icicle River near Leavenworth here, and have us a time. Gotta get up relatively early though, so I's hittin' the hay a couple hours early tonight.

I know. I feel really strange about it too. I have room for another 16 to 20 beers in my gut. Oh well, I'll start early tomorrow to make up for it
