Well... I got tired of the gappy look of the open coil humbuckers on my '02 Special Faded. With shipping: $28 from Philadelphia Luthiers'. The covers are a tight fit around the baseplate with tape, around the pickups. They're actually a perfect fit. At first there wasn't any WOW factor, but it's growing on me. From a short distance the pups don't stand out like normal open coiled pups. You just see screws and slugs. Cleaner... 
I also wanted to tilt the pups more parallel to the strings, but the physics of the footprint of the bridge pup wouldn't allow it unless I did some fancy beveling of the pup opening on the pickguard. The neck pup would have been no problem to tilt.
