How did the audition go, Robert?
It went good, Man...it felt good. I was up against some really crazy dudes with designer equipment, but I am good at what I do...maybe not the best, but good. The band will announce their decision this week....
How did the audition go, Robert?
You wear them black leather pants LOL I'm just kidding well you took a Gibson to a audition :dood:
Country rock or pop ? what kind of music did you play at the audition?
I knew it ya wore them pants cmon we know it!
Blackstar? Robert are you sending me a Blackstar?
I'm kinda ambidextrous but that was from my early start in sports and hunting shooting .
My step dad used to make me do a basketball routine which included shooting ball left and passing left.
and I'm left eye dominate so I shoot left and when I boxed as a kid I switched to left often
I loved Marvin haggler because he switched back and forth in fights and it is a good advantage.
but switching stance in boxing is as much about the footwork as it is the hands .
Watching Hagler at regular speed he often loked like a unorthodox brawler but when when you slow
it down its just fighting genius.
So where is the Black Betty SG ????
Blackstar
Here is a 336 (same size as the 339) next to 2 LPs and an SG. Pretty close in size and a whole new soundI don't like the big guitars, I like the little dinky ones, so the 339 is out.
I have thought about that honeryburst although I'm not fond of the thin photo/picture tops they use on the plustops - I prefer the plain tops. &, I buy and sell so much that when I can get a Gibaon SG faded NOS for $620 there really isn't much money to lose there when/if I sell it. Also, I just love the 60s slim taper neck on the Gibsons - by far the nicest neck I've ever played.
Since the first I ever heard of Def Leppard, I loved the High n Dry album and that song, Let it Go.
Something about the Pete Willis days brought out the more raw times of Leppard that hooked me at 17 yrs old.
Another of my favorite cuts from that album was High N Dry Saturday Night.
Hope you killed it at the audition Robert
yeah thats a trip smoke and lasers in audition. I would have killed it on Huuricane and immigrant song I do plush but that one verse when he goes in the wiierd
B chord picking always flubs me. the rest of the set yeah I been fooked I been like summer of 69 nah lets do fits ya good.
animal ut uhh no way imma play me some
letting go Id been like you see boys you got the right bands just the wrong songs hell no wonder yall need a new picker LOL
Not knocking them, but I've never liked them. My amp taste is: VOX AC30, Fender Princeton, Fender Bassman or Messa Boogie. Sadly, I cannot afford any of them!
