You should do a carve top. Those are thicker in the middle.3 hours of moisture and pressure has made a significant difference. I just re-wet and re-set and will give it a few more hours, maybe even until morning

The center of the join line is still proud however, and will need some sanding.
Well, you can always make a canoe.The moisture works. I overdid it and ot cupped the other way! Ugh!

No, that is very close to actual body width, so the knots will be inward. If anything crazy happens, I will just make a plug out of scraps, which would be even less prominent than a knotNone of those knots are going to be on the edge are they?
