THE CLASS OF THIS FORUM

TBTH, I landed here by mere chance, as I was internet surfing for some insight on how to achieve certain tones on guitar... It's only been about 4 months and I have already added a wealth of knowledge about guitar tech stuff that only encourages me to pursue my long desired project of guitar tinkering, teching and repairing at a more professional level, parallel to my cooking. Not to mention a few pieces of gear to my collection, including a little swampamp thanks to the Ferengi salesmanship of Brother eSGEe. But most importantly, I feel that I found the nicest place with the nicest people to spend time with, other than my own family...

And is it just me or there seems to be a strange but very noticeable link between guitar/amp and cat ownership?:pound-hand:

Thank you for welcoming me to the (not crazy, just a little unwell) fold... :DVERY happy to be here for the long run!!

I agree with what SSC said above. The complete lack of false personas and snickering at others lack of talent/knowledge is extremely refreshing and I hope it never changes. It's everywhere on the internet these days and it is very nice to be able to let your guard down and be yourself. Well, I mean most people. If Adrian is being himself I can't imagine how difficult his life must be.

I came here in 2016 not long after this place was created, from a forum that a lot of the people on the beginning migrated from. RVA invited me to join and I did. The other forum was going to hell too fast and this place was a drama free place to talk about guitar gear. To me that is something special that they created. I don't post as much as a lot forum members but I do read a lot. I am learning all the time from the experienced players and guitar and amp techs here. I do play guitar everyday and I play a different guitar each day. I do like sharing in the Muse I Adorn thread. I am very grateful to be a member in this forum full of amazing people.

I'm on few other forums but here I feel at home.

Cheers all you tele-radios and non tele-radio brothers and sisters.
