Fine. Then just go buy them calf bones and let them have at it. At least it'll keep them busy for a little bit. :)

So anyway,

Is 55 too old to become a roadie? A buddy of mine's older brother used to be a roadie. I believe he did lighting. He was always out with Bob Mould back in the day. Back around 1990 a Marshall 1/2 stack was delivered to our apartment. Whatever band he was out with at the time didn't want it. They only used 800s. I think it was a 100 watt 900 reverb with a 1960A cab. Kind of hard to used in a stick framed apartment building. Anyway, it might be fun if I can take Boo with me.

I believe now days you need a degree for that --- also Im guessing the 2 bionic hips MIGHT make the rig climbing a bit "iffy"

they have a school here in FLO RI DUH for that
Show Production Bachelor's Degree – Campus
Students in this program build experience at concerts and live shows, becoming familiar with concepts such as lighting and sound design.

Courses Include:

  • Lighting Concepts and Design ‐ This course is dedicated to conventional lighting-system concepts and introduces students to color theory, photometrics, truss systems, conventional fixtures, dimmers, and terminology.
  • Audio and Visual Technologies ‐ This course is dedicated to building confidence in the area of multimedia-conference meetings and corporate-presentation skills.
  • Audio Measurement Systems ‐ Students will use software and hardware for real-time sound-system measurement, optimization, and control to analyze audio in real-time, enabling them to maximize the quality of sound across different engineering environments.

So anyway, can I crash at your place?

Hey, and don't spray bug repellent around plastic. It might melt. I make sure I take a shower after using that stuff before I even look at a guitar just to be safe.
That came up when I searched the shirt reaction thing….I think that it’s just the steamy day here, and me…playing while seated…clutching the guitar tight. It also showed a little fogging where my skin contacted the guitar body. No bug spray for me…they hate me already.

So anyway...
We took on live fire Saturday afternoon.
Yep, just another day in the swamp. Redneckastan at it's finest.
We hear semi auto gunfire all the time, so we didn't think much at first.
Until things got real.
One of the great unwashed, of the hordes of people that should never breed, hit my pool cage with a .22LR round.

And while I was looking for the impact, the inbreeder zinged another one overhead. Way too fuking close for comfort.
It was somewhat unsettling to say the least.
Mainly because my wife & her friend were sitting poolside enjoying fermented beverages at the time.
Sherriff was called & reports were filed but I doubt anything will come of it.
First rule of safe gun handling, know what's beyond the target.
