I loved it, personally. It has a desert sound to it and the lyrics are very cool: kinda apocalyptic. Had ya listened long enough, by 4:05 it became classic Maiden harmonizing: shouldve stuck around lol

I put it on and it sounded like cowboy music I was like come on bring the gallops,harmony and speed but 2 min in it didnt happen and i said see ya….. I hope whole album is not like this. Great music video tho…

Funny, I have been listening to Piece of Mind the last week or so.
Still cant play The Trooper riffs at speed, ughh.
Cool video; the horsemen / bikers are the evolving versions of Eddie from the early records.
So, Eddie is god; who knew?
Really love the storytelling in some of their songs.
I've heard the first 2 records , but I'm only thoroughly familiar with Number of the Beast, Piece of Mind, and Powerslave.
I have heard some of the next 2 or 3 records, but I really drifted away from actively listening to music for some years in the late 80's. Lost touch with new music.

Iron Maiden could probably write a song about a floral arrangement in a gypsy/flamenco style and still make it interesting. They already wrote songs about the novels/novellas of Dune, Lord of the Flies, Inhabitant of the Lake, Quest for Fire, When The Wind Blows, The Charge of the Light Brigade and countless others to showcase their talents.

Oh hell yeah! I just heard this about 45mins ago and already listened to it 5 times, swear to god lol this should sound more like classic maiden for those that didnt like The Writing On The Wall as much. Definitely has the classic gallop, triple guitars, solos and the lyrics are absolutely killer!
