Happy 4th !!!

I'm gonna drink Canadian beer.
I used to enjoy a bit of Canadian whiskey. Don’t have any right now or I’d join you in a toast.

Edit: should have added…. It was a long time ago. Pre-legal age. Several of us idiot guys would buy a bottle of CC to pass around till it was gone. Graduated to CC and 7. Then I turned legal age and it wasn’t fun anymore.

I appreciate my independence. But, what good is freedom of choice if you can't choose what you want? My liquor store only had Labatt's Blue! No other Canadian beer at all. And it was only available in cans! No Moosehead (too skunky anway), no Molson Golden, Ale or Canadian which is what I really wanted today. Effing bastards. They obviously aren't paying attention to how much money I've spent there over the years. I should have my own tasting room with an extra chair for my liver. Had to settle for Summit. At least it's brewed here in St. Paul.

I will be drinking Bitburger Pils later. Maybe some Slingsby's or Sipsmith's Gin.

The Bitburger Pils seems to show up in quite a few of your photos. I'm guessing it's a favorite.

Yeah, nothing like cheap German beer. It was a local brew when I was growing up. It's only $4.99 for a four pack of .5L cans, so it's economical. Local microbrews that taste like old bongwater sell for $14-$22 a four pack. I'll also get Kὂnig or Veltins Pils, if Bitburger isn't available. I also like the Grevensteiner Landbier. There are a couple of others I really like, but they are for when I feel like spending too much money for beer.

I just scored a 12pk of tall can Narragansett 1975 edition cans at Harris Teeter in VA Beach. While that might be trash to some admittedly, im a sucker for cheapass old school beer, especially ones that we can't get back home lol

Plus the cans even say " Crush it Like Quint", straight from Jaws
