Jam night tonight!

Got together with the boys for the first time in over a year! We were rusty as hell, but man it was fun.

I finally got to try out my new Stat through my old rig, which I haven't even seen in forever! Sounded amazing. I forgot just how freakin' good this amp sounds.

We are fortunate enough to have a band room in a building in a part of town where volume is not an issue. So we can just open up and let it rip!

Nice !! We been getting the 'church' band into shape last few weeks. Sure feels great to just simply jam with others !!

My wife's uncle Doug (passed last June from the COVID) played acoustic guitar most of his life.
Jammed with others but never in an organized band.

Anyway, many years ago, he noticed Carole King browsing in a record store in Maplewood NJ.
He said hello, chatted with her a bit. Said she was very pleasant.

Well, what a day…… Today it was absolute disaster….. Singer came in he acted like a dog sniffing everything and right away I knew he was not the one…. My drummer got annoyed with him after several times blasting feedback from mic from P.A. and he walked out…. I try to jam alone with him his timing was off… went to check on drummer he said to me tell him to piss off so se can jam….lol
Even the codes for doors was not working and we got locked out, trying to phone up people to let us give new codes….
I was stressed out as hell trying to keep both calm…

In the end I asked to leave and he did, he left his phone and had to come back lol me and drummer Jammed for a bit but none of us was in mood to get the work done.

Search goes on.

Ah well, poop bound to happen.

Ahh geesh. Don’t stress. Things will go better next jam. We all gotta get back into what was normal 18 months ago.
