I just invested in a DigiTech Drop pedal recently. And for the rare times I get the itch to go low, the Drop pedal makes it easy, sounds damn good, and in turn... Inspiring! Gotz to thanks Yarngard for the heads-up on this effect!

So anyway, we went and saw this SRV tribute band yesterday at the Village. What a fantastic group, the guitar player/singer was dead on in his singing and playing. Fun day under the sun by the lake.

He was using a Line6 box for his patches with 1/4” lines to the FX return on his 2 15w amps and 2 XLRs to the front of the house. Had really good tone with that rig.

So anyways...ughh... we have to do a set for our band in standard tuning cause its a full set ready to go Ended up on the Mesa 50 Cal+ & halfback cab. That whole era was semi open cabs & SG's lots of clean to dirt back n forth.

Since the gain chan is amazing on the 50 cal, had to figure out how to balance clean & make is stomp back n forth,

Used Joyo Sweet Baby to tame down actually & ad some brightness to the chord strums. Fun stuff
