If you don't open your eyes you can usually get an extra 5 minutes before they start in with a paw. I had one years ago that would start tapping my nose. If your eyes opened it was over. Boo just ever so gently sets a paw on you and then slowly extends one claw just until it starts to hurt. Usually somewhere on the neck.

That doesn't work with Mowgli. He walks on my head. Or chews on my phone cord or a plastic bag. He knows I can't stand it. He's so cute though. I usually just do what he wants. Its easier.

Oh hell no. Cute and cuddly now, but a full grown black lab? No. It would be fun to have on the acreage up north, but I am all too familiar with the needs of an adult black lab.

we have a 90lb lab mix ...... he is a "medium" dog round these parts............ hardly know he is there half the time .... cant see him over the horse and the moose .... and giraffe
