The Muse I Adorn

I love Prince. I remeber SRV, I was in Communications class in high school when my teacher stopped the class to tell us the chopper crashed. I think I was the only one who knew who he was. I later worked with a guy that had tickets to see SRV in TX on that tour.
I live about 6 miles from Paisley Park. That really did suck. It still is a pretty huge deal up here.

That is a killer finish.

What kinda pickups ya got in that thing?
It's a MIM 2003 Fender Splattercaster, a special edition that was made to highlight new design and painting capabilities of the mexican fender plant.

According to the store, the previous owner said the neck and bridge pups were handwound custom minibuckers. Why one with screws and the other with a plain cover, I've no idea... The middle pickup is a dual rail also handwound... I have to dig out the invoice and tag for the name of the guy who made the dual rail. I remember something about him being kinda legendary... I'll get back to you on that.

As for the hardware, the trem and saddles are KGC / Callaham and the tuners are Raw Vintage.

The tag was in the case. As it reads, the only fully identified pickup is the middle, a Bill Lawrence rail.
