So this is one of (mostly) Brent's songs, written after he ended up getting his ass handed to him by a friend of the drummer of SOAD in a street brawl in 2007 after the Video Music Awards lol
He ended up in the hospital for a while because he wound up with a life threatening brain hemorrhage from the fight. F'ked him up real good. Anyway, while he was recovering at home he was experiencing extreme vertigo for months on end, and this song in particular amongst a few others are supposed to sort of reflect the way he was feeling at the time; dizzy, spiraling out of control, etc...pretty weird song with some weird stuff in it! It's a good tune though!

I remember reading about that. If it was any other place than America you would probably go to jail for beating a drunk guy to near death, putting him in a coma with brain damage because he hit you with his shirt. No doubt there has to be more to it than all this but they obviously want to put it behind them. Alcohol can be one crazy-ass drug. If you can't remember anything waking up in a hospital after boozing, then yeah, that is going to change your life fast. I had a guy headbutt me once in a bar and walk out. I was told I had been headbutted. Can't even recall it happening. Didn't fall over. Stayed standing. My face is a bit hard like that. Never broke a bone in my life. However, that can kill people. It is also very illegal in most places. I also remember at least two incidents near where I grew up where two people died at separate times getting these one punch knockouts, sucker punches, king punches, whatever they are called, and hitting their heads on the curb. Dead instantly. Makes you think.
