bassbreakers vs marshalls..........

Honestly, why compare Marshalls versus Fender? It's like comparing Apples and Rutabagas. Each does their own thing. The Marshall had the compression you'd expect of a Marshall and it's Celestion speakers. The Fender had the headroom you'd expect of a Fender. Each has their pluses and minuses. It's all in what you're chasing.

Besides, if you want an amp that truly slays all others... There is only One!

Well, out of the production amps anyway. I know a guy on this forum who has some amps that will certainly give these a run for their money.

I was on red channel gain at 2 o'clock. I don't have stock tubes. ;)
How do you set your EQ? Mine is gain 1 o’clock preamp vol 1, master 12, treb 9 bass 11,resonance 12 middle 2 presence 9... boosted woth mxr gt od level max tone 1 drive 0... sounds good on my set up.

I run the channel volumes wide open and use the masters for all volume control. I run the gain on the OD channels anywhere between 3 and 7 for the most part depending on what I am doing. Pickup output has a lot to do with it as well and mine are all different. Bass is at 1 o'clock, mids 3 o'clock and treble 12 o'clock. Presence is at 12 o'clock and resonance is at 1 o'clock. I have my MXR 10 band has a mid bump and a little treble cut.
