Ah baloney. Instruments are just tools (some say "for fools") to make sounds that hopefully agree with yer ears, or their ears, or our ears.

It's really all good, all this stuff about shapes and colors and sizes and brands and yadda yadda yadda. After over six decades of messing with this stuff, from both jaded and realistic perspectives based on fretted tool addictions and spending a decade strummin' and pluckin' in bars and clubs and other stinky places, it's really all good one one or another. There is no right or wrong, none whatsoever. It's all subjective. Just listen to the "music" of the current generation - take it or leave it (left it long ago). Hah.

“Anybody can play. The note is only 20 percent. The attitude of the motherf***** who plays it is 80 percent.”
--Miles Davis--

My entire music life is based on that quote------ I dont even know the notes --- but I can SELL it and put on a show ;)

I totally cannot understand why everyone is so googly eyed over Billie Eilish. It's so ordinary, from what little I've heard. There's still good stuff out there although it's certainly not going to be heavily promoted .

Absolutely. Same with Taylor Swift and Miley Cryus. None are spectacular in appearance or talent, but they have brilliant marketing.

I'll get some better pics up.

When people speak of "relics" this is the guitar they refer to Lol.

Chiseled the bridge, by hand, for a humbucker. Every fad that came along in the 80's was done to that poor Strat.

Should be pretty cool after I rebuild it- again!
