I've never owned a Bullet, but I've set up dozens of cheap Squiers for other people over the years.

Not true, they just found Indian contractors that already made guitars for other brands.

WELL DONE!!! Ive always wanted to do that --- I also lurk on the talkbass forum and have seen SEVERAL very nice bronco to Mustang bass conversions

When Fender released the shell pink last year ----- I was having a crisis

Ive played 48.00 guitars (yep NEW to the door ) off ebay -----

after a decent set up there was NOTHING wrong with it --- if I had added Fender loaded pickguard it would have been stellar

Ive played 5,000.00 R-9s that left me HUGELY disappointed .....

I have a Maestro Husk right now ---- Id like to use as shotgun fodder ---- snapped truss rod -- bowed neck ......BUT even with STUPID high action when you strum it the wood vibrates it moves it FEELS like its alive and it wants to be PLAYED .............

SO ------ ANYONE KNOW if I Can bolt a Lefty Fender Strat neck to a Maestro body ??? my new project is an "OH HELL NOCASTER" :)

Well Goo I WOULD have bought it months ago--- however CME has them on BACK ORDER -- and NO DATE for when they will arrive.......... Im not dropping 199.00 on a "maybe you will get it one day"

HOWEVER I could score a used red one or black one and MAKE IT PINK! ;)
