funky monkey-- but lots of spunky

Ill try and get some other pics this weekend. the P.O.s home made thumb rest is comical -- ith the rubber tip from .......like a kitchen utensil (the metal "handle" of the utensil is STILL IN THERE ..... they just "CLIPPED" it off and GLUED it to the body ............. (bass players! :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :pound-hand:)
 
you know --- Ive come to realize the cosmos has intentionally separated a few of us here on this forum by MILEs and even whole countries because ----- the amount of HAVOC we could bring as a COLLECTIVE all physically in one geographic location could spell the end of the world..........................or at least all the beer and brats.....

NOW here is where it gets ODD............................the "thumb rest" --- help me figure out WTF this was -- before being repurposed???
its a soft rubber tip over 2 small metal ends .... a wisk? maybe "brushes" handle for drums? -- I have a hankerin' to rip it off and replace with a PROPER thumb rest -- though I dont USE a thumb rest ....if I remove it I am SURE there will be a mark left -- glue or finish damage......so....id replace it -- but the (practicle--read CHEAP--- side of me) says --"F" it it works -- leave it........the mojo is stored there ;) "

so there ya go--- its funky--- but oh so spunky :) and goes BOOM at picture rattling levels with ease

I’ve seen something like that before. As soon as I figure it out I’ll post.
 
I will have you know -- in this particular instance--- it came pre "eEGEe'ed !" and was actually one of the selling points ;) as ----yes --- that is TOTALLY some REDNECK ENGINEERING rat thar Id have sure done ---- IF ....."IF" I used a thumb rest.....

But I play by the thumb drag/mute school so the rest is just pointless.
 
it does appear UTENSIL ish -- and it has 2 DISTINCT "shafts " (yep I said SHAFT
