Hiya, RVA! Yes, I agree that rosewood gives a good contrast between body and neck. But, and I'm just playing the canadian DA here, maybe you could also consider making the maple fretboard look a bit darker (without going as dark as rosewood of course), just to visually "meld" the neck and body as a third option? Yeah, I know... just adding more work and complicating things... ain't I a stinkah? Story of my life! :LOL:

Thanks for the idea! That neck has already been sealed, but I will keep that in mind next time - staining a maple neck to taste presents a lot of possibilities!

Would love to see one of those, especially tinted coloured! BTW, if you don't mind me asking, where did you get that tele body from? Not often does one come across a unique piece like that.
 
I too have a cat --- in my way.....................
Picasso had a bit of a head injury (no idea....cats dot that) he is a farm kitty that WONDERED up and made his home here....he is on "injured reserve" till his head heals ...
