Yes, I agree that rosewood gives a good contrast between body and neck. But, and I'm just playing the canadian DA here, maybe you could also consider making the maple fretboard look a bit darker (without going as dark as rosewood of course), just to visually "meld" the neck and body as a third option? Yeah, I know... just adding more work and complicating things... ain't I a stinkah? Story of my life!![]()

These fellows kick out some interesting pieces. You will need to get your hands dirty. Some require more routing than others.Would love to see one of those, especially tinted coloured!
