We were playing oldies this morning and B.S.-ing as usual, and "Peg" by Steeley Dan came on. I've never listened to it all the way through until today. The song itself I find really boring, but the tone and composition of the solo was just remarkable.

It's an amazing solo. Actually, Steely Dan's whole catalog is littered with amazing guitar work.

Can't say I am a fan of the tone personally, but the playing, yeah, wow.

Bass is actually quite buried, but good none the less. Solo is better for me....
