It's all about the Rrrrrriiiffffffss!

I was going to get the lizzy hale explorer to do as you've done but couldnt find a black pick guard and trus rod cover. The mirrored i thought was horrendous. Like what youve done

Thanks
I just spray painted the hell out of my gold ones. I made it thick and splattery. Happier with it now.

I was looking for a 5 ply.
Blink found one for his traditional explorer but I had no luck so gave up and got the James hetfield modle

Spent about 60bucks on black hardware, mini grovers. Then got this krylon fusion flat black paint for like 5 bucks. Also installed Duncan blackouts Mick Thompsons! It's a machine now!

Got some terrible news today. One of my former students and athletes (coached her in 2 sports) went to sleep last night and never woke up. She was 20. Suspected OD. My heart is broken. I cried a bunch today. She was in my oldest boys class. I used to feed her granola bars and pop tarts from my desk because she never got fed at home. . . . She had come so far, I was so proud of her.
Anyhow here is the only way I know how to cope.

That’s so sad to hear brother,
Nice work on a different style from your usual.

That is terrible news.Im so sorry to hear that, Its always heart breaking when someone you care passes away. Especially when both were working hard for better future.
You are good man brother, keep up the good work.

as for riff, it has emotional feel to it where you can play Gilmore type leads, which will fit the music perfect.

Me too.... Unfortunately I have a shoulder surgery Tuesday morning, supposed to be in a sling for 6 weeks and then rehab for 6 months after that.... We'll see.

Sorry to hear about both of these things on so many levels man. First off , wish you a speedy recovery with the shoulder surgery! Secondly, absolutely sorry to hear about your former student. Thats terrible and sounds like she wasnt ever given a real chance in this world to begin with but at least there was someone decent minded and good hearted to try to help out, like yourself. So a thank you is in order for that
