Not my favorite piece i've done but nice little experiment to see what I come up with, with alcohol in my system (no, i'm not planning on making a habit out of it.
To be fair, i recorded this stuff around 1:00-2:00 am after about 2 pints and 5 shots of Rum after not having drank anything in a few years aside from a bottle of beer here or there, so tired... yes.
Plus i had the sudden desire to make a cheesy powermetal song in the style of the 80's, had been listening to a lot of manowar and hammerfall
PLUS I only have beats that go 210BPM without having to artificially speed it up and im not playing at 230BPM just for the drums to sound a bit off when its all said and done
. So THAT will have to wait til i get EZdrummer, hopefully within the next few months. Although i fear we are fast approaching speeds that will make the program pop a message up saying, "Has your doctor approved you for this amount of BPM?"

my writs and thumb muscle hurts from playing on my fretting hand and elbow on picking hand, metal playing is great is not it ahahahahahha

I'm playing right back, and yes i know Manowar is ultimate cheese but I would be lying if i said I don't like occasionally blasting "Warriors of the world" every now and then

Some of the best music to come out of the 60s and 70s were done by bands that were so loaded….. they don’t remember playing it.

I don't really drink like that anymore, it's hard work to stay drunk (and I mean DRUNK) all day and night.....we tried. We tried hard! Not easy on the body, mind and spirit...
I have a lot of pages of riffs and other notes that I kept as we went along, but looking back now, about a year or two later, I have no clue what I was thinking. Good thing they're all recorded onto a phone for future reference lol

Saw Hammerfall and Doro at a festival in Mannheim, Germany a few years ago. I had a great time. It was a lot of fun.

I think they are from Russia? Never seen them live, I only go for thrash live shows
last March I missed Exodus, Testament and Death Angel on same bill.... still cant get over it
Non metal show Ive seen is Katie Melua, my brother insisted to go, because she is from Georgia.... he likes sissy music, anyway, we went and I fell asleep during the show, it was so boring....
I heard my brothers play list on YT, I was embarrassed he was my brother.....lol

Looks like they're from Gothenburg, Sweden. I really wanted to see Doro, and they were on the bill. First time I ever saw a band with not one amplifier on the stage. They were all wireless going into the house sound. I'm sure their fans thought they were great, but the sound was too sterile for me. It lacked character, with no amplifiers. The dynamics were definitely missing.

Loudest gig ive been is Motorhead, my ears were ringing when i left the venue.

Seen them several times over the years, including Hammersmith Odeon and Brixton Academy. Every one of those amps were on. No fake amplifiers and cabinets.
