none here got one that close (1970 LEs Paul Recording Guitar) Im a '69 model..... have a '62 EBO bass..... 2 70's era Peaveys ......but that is as close as I get nothing SPOT on a '69 ...the rest are 80's and up

1958 for me, and this is what I'm currently thinking: What if I had a guitar that was built from a tree that sprouted in 1958? How long does a mahogany or maple tree need to grow for some proper guitar wood? :hmmm:o_O:confused2::flash:

I used to have a '69 Camaro. I guess it was okay.

I've always wanted a birth year guitar, and high school era car.
The perfect guitar would be a 1959 Lester, but now that they're unobtainium, I settled for an old Harmony, that I got in pieces.

Not quite what I had in mind, but it is a 1959 from what I could tell from the faded inked model numbers inside.
The car would have to be a gold1977 Trans Am, but it would never be.
Ended up graduating high school in a 76 Gremlin instead.

Now if it was the Gremlin X with the 401 that would be cool. I knew a guy that had a blue one that would run mid-twelves in the quarter all day long.

I guess since I have multiple replacement parts I would consider a Custom Shop reissue as equivalent to an actual birth year guitar. I could go for a 1966 reissue SG if they decided to make one.
