Guitar dealers?

They also make Apex. I like Apex mics. I’ve got two that have stood the test of time and never let me down.
We have one Apex mic. To be honest the cheap Behringer 58 is more solidly made, crazy good for the money. Our Apex has never failed us. But they make lots of nice low end Apex stuff from mic stamds to accessories to mic kits.

I get mine from various music stores in the area. Luckily, I live in a densely populated area with a large musician base. Having Berklee College of Music doesn't hurt, and most of the school systems have music programs. And then there is a huge local music scene between NYC and Portland, ME. Hence, there are many brick and mortar stores, and no shortage of used professional gear.

Some of my favorites over the years have been:

Vater's Music
Walpole Music
Cambridge Music
E. U. Wurlitzer
Mr. Music
Bill's Music
Retro Music

All those stores have treated me great over the years. I've only bought one guitar at Guitar Center (my T-Bird bass), and my only Sweetwater purchase was a '61 Les Paul Re-Issue. Also only two Craigslist scores. I like the whole process of going window shopping and tire kicking. I never know what I'm looking for until I find it. I also only buy used stuff anyway, because I like letting the other guy take the hit when driving it off the lot.

I get my best deals on TGP and a few on Reverb.

I have a few for sale right now...what are you looking for?

I'm looking for an Ibanez, and specifically an AZ model. Even more specificity, it has to have a fantastically set up neck. I think I found it. But I also just really want to have a place to explore and also shop in the future.

This is of course, my personal opinion. Ibanez seems to have their necks down to a T in a good way. If you like slim fast necks, very few guitars can match their wizard necks. Ibanez guitars aren't always my thing but i've owned a $200 dollar super strat ibanez with passive EMG's and a string through bridge...i LOVED that guitar and how it felt and played.

Exactly right. My first ibanez has changed the way I look at every other guitar.

And now they have the AZ model, which is not like a wizard. Basically it's a C shape neck. I tried one, and I'm hooked. And on top of that, Rich Harris puts on his famous fret job for me. Forget about it. Awesome.

nope used at JIMMYS VINTAGE MUSIC in Auburndale FL -- one of my FAVORITE opium dens
frequented by many denizens of the guitar safari
THAT makes more sense!! ok, crisis averted, lower the blast shields!!

I would joke about that lester with all the switches and knobs and everything, but to be fair i've been kind of interested in those midi pickups you can stick to your guitar and use it as a midi controller for other instrument sounds, so would be rather hypocritical
