been a while, but thanks to covid I now have a lot of free time (eyeroll)

Love this melodic metal, very well done brother.
Keep this stuff coming !! :notes: :notes::notes::notes::notes::beers:
Beautiful ending

Thanks man! decided to go back to my roots, also its a product of a dream i had where a (in my dream this band exists) world famous power metal band recruited me for a massive televised performance after one of their guitarists broke both of his arms, then i was tasked to create an opening song to start the set off and this is my recreation of it aside from some substitutes.
What do you mean, because of Covid?

DID you get sick and can't work?

Yup in a nutshell that's exactly what happened.

Huh...thats weird. yea there where a few sections where i sped up and lowered the tempo to suit what i was going for but never had that issue before, but yea, i think its the high hat in the left ear that is doing it... i may need to play with that to get it straightened out.

get eazy drummer man, my next purchase will be that. it very useful too, or someone on MF suggested monkey drums..https://betamonkey.com/

Ok I lowered the volume of the hi-hat by a lot. Doesn't necessarily take care of the issue, but it's less harsh on the left ear. unless someone tells me it would be better to completely mute the hi-hat, not sure why out of all the drum pieces though that one is causing the issue...

Ive been using EZ drummer for about 8 yrs now and its in every electronic track I've made on a computer in that time. Its incredible. I got the lite version with my Alesis e-kit, but upgraded to the full version right away. I think I've got several addon kits for it since then and its pretty much the easiest and best drum plugin around. Superior drummer goes even further but I dont need all that extra mic placement, etc stuff.

The company that makes it (Toontracks) is Swedish I think and they built their drum studio specifically for the the purposes of recording samples for the software. And then they hired the best drummers and engineers available to sample the kits.

Oh i believe ya, and if I wasn't laid off for a week, possibly more I would go ahead and grab it as it appears they have a metal add on. thing is, i know next to nothing about playing drums, really have no drum knowledge and been working off of midi samples really, does it have a bunch of midi tracks that you can upload and it just tracks them better?

Son of a..... Great.... Now i gotta top that and go 230 BPM!!!! and when i have to put my wrist in a cast due to guitar related injuries, I'm going to rub your nose in it and say "YOU DID THIS!!!"

(although not going to lie, that was really good.)

hahahah DO IT!
you do 230, i go 240 :celebrate2::pound-hand:.. my wrist hurts man, been playing too much, I feel pins and needles on my fingertips :)

I may have to wait to get that program, I don't have any beats that go past 210-220 unless i just speed it up, which i may end up having to do... Geeze my wrist is already tired just THINKING about it LOL!!!!!
The song i did with 223 it was brutal for my arm that kind of picking, triplet feel.... but alternate picking i can do faster :)
Faster, faster we must play faster :)

have you seen EZ drummer onYT?
