Complaining about Gibsons and Les Pauls in particular seems to be what all the cool guys do on the web. I love mine.Don't know why people complain about the weight of Les Pauls. I've never had an issue tossing them around the way Warner Hodges plays a Tele. But, then he does do the same thing with a Lester.

I suppose you need to support your lower back with your hand as well?If you arch your back a little bit its actually okay

I'm just pullin' you leg. I love LP's. I'm 6'3" and 230 pounds. Not a dainty little flower. I started on LP's and played them almost exclusively for Many years, until I discovered the joy of the Strat and Tele. These days I prefer my guitars on the lighter side, and I have a weight relieved LP and I love it.Strange thing is, all that weight is a big part of it. I love it - there is something weirdly reassuring about the heavy ones. I'm a pretty big guy, 6'4" and in non-covid times when I can go to the gym every day I run about 220-225 (I lost over 20 pounds when the gyms closed down last year and just starting to build it back). So the weight isn't so much of an issue and I really like the way a good, heavy Les Paul feels on the strap.
