It's a generally good period for a Studio. Other than what you mentioned I'd be sure nobody has mucked around in the control cavity and that everything works as it should. Wine Red is my favorite color for a Studio.
 
I think I have baffled myself with my jonesing. Since selling my Harley and a bunch of other stuff I have ordered an SG Modern in black fade, a Les Paul Modern in carbon, an Orange ppc112, a DSL100HR, an Avatar signature 212, 2 sets of Duncan pickups and a bunch of small parts. I have $400 left to spend. Maybe a couple of pedals....

So did I. It was my dad's. Bought it from him when he started having eye problems. It was starting to get old enough to not be worth much and with two artificial hips I figured it was time to hang it up anyway. I have been enjoying converting material possessions into guitars for the last few years. They retain value better than most things as well.

I hear ya brother. but Im planning to get one at some point before I die. I love them bad boys, my neighbor has one every time he fires her up whole streets shake :) I love it

I like the looks of that bike, but would prefer something with a swing arm. I'm not a big soft tail fan, other than their looks. With all the stuff going on with the house still, I'll be lucky to get my old Pan/Shovel running this year. As soon as I finish painting the garage, and start on the landscaping, I'll get a new rear tire, chain, and start fixing the brakes.

I can only say I almost considered a Low Rider in 2002.

Made the great choice of perfect bike for me. 2002 Softtail Nighttrain.

Wine Red is my least favorite LP color. And especially for Studio's I prefer WHITE ones like Smitty's old one.

As for Lesters, Epi made this one, I took it to the next level with the T Tops, and Bone Nut. Here it sits in the new foam I rebuilt the Anvil Case with.

No, thank you. It can go over in the corner with the polar bear. ;) Since you're laid up, why not make yourself useful and be kind. Imagine how happy I'll be with that beautiful guitar in my hands. Heltershelton gave someone a guitar and is adored. Now, don't you want to grow up to be just like him? :pound-hand:

I run all that through the 1984 JC120 under the table. It's basically in power amp mode with the two 15" Community PA monitors hooked to the back of it.
