What are you GAS-ing for?

Don’t really have any GAS at the moment. Pretty much got things covered. But at one time I really wanted this Gretch. I believe as the story goes it was only made between 2001-2003 and was dropped from the lineup with the purchase of Gretch by Fender. 1618969103029.jpeg

I'm gassin' for a synthesizer.
Not a guitar synthesizer, but a real bonified keyboard synthesizer.
Think Emmerson Lake & Palmer's pictures at an Exhibition or Billy Thorps Children of the Sun.

Was over at a buddy's Sunday for burgers & beer and he was showing me his synthesizer collection.
He explained and demonstrated the differences between polyphonic and monophonic and did all kinds of demos running through a 200 watt Sunn Amp into 2 12's.
Amazing sounds, bowel wretching, house shaking lows and otherworldly noises, and every keyboard sounds you could imagine .

I'm sure it won't happen, But I can still lust.
Thank you, thank you.

Hardly ever see Billy Thorpes name around, and that's too bad. Great, great writer and musician.

The flashy SGs leave me a little cold; a standard is probably as high as I could go.

I've a P90 and a single coil guitar that I'm happy enough with, but am missing out on humbuckers, so an SG standard, a LP standard or a nice 339 would be my ideal purchase at the moment. Just moved abode, so not gonna happen for a while.

While laying in bed this morning wanting to be asleep and not falling back to sleep. I remembered. I really would like a nice 12 string acoustic to replace my 45 year old Yamaha that is basically unplayable. My thoughts are a Martin, Gibson or Guild. Probably won’t happen..... but I can GAS.

Where did you move to Grump?

Well it looks like someone might want to trade my RG for a LP Studio. Let's see how it goes...

Well it looks like this is probably happening o_O It's a wine red studio from I think 2008. Is there anything to look out for except the obvious headstock break and such?
