Anybody remember the photo of Vince Neil in bed, with an underage chic, that came out in an issue of Creem???

As I recall, there was a lawsuit and Vince narrowly escaped charges of lewd conduct with a minor.

I recall the photo like it was yesterday, but can't seem to find it.

Anybody else remember this???

A worthless human killed my little bro the same way. Just out jogging and a bag of douche hit him and left him for dead.

P.O.S. served five years and did the same thing within ninety days of his release.

I'm a "second chance" type of person- in most cases. To hit another living being and leaving? No redeemable qualities, throw the key away.

Man thats terrible. Im incredibly sorry to hear that dude. That's a straight up piece of poop and someone who clearly isn't a useful member of any society. In other words, life at a minimum or better still, death penalty and save the money and time

That photo shoot (above) is actually a re-shoot the record company demanded after the pics came out with the (very clearly) underage girl. There was a major effort to eradicate the photo in question, originally snapped by Nikki Sixx, IIRC.

Only a handful of Creem magazines had the original pic. Midway through the run, the pics were switched!!!

Back in the late 1980's, I was living in Fullerton and working as a guitar tech and guitar slinger. One of my client's got me hooked up working on Ratt's guitars, mostly just stringing and wiping them down. I recall having a conversation with Robbin Crosby about the photo and resulting controversy.

Yeah it dawned on that Beth Lynn was his ex wife so that makes total sense. They were doing damage control from the potential criminal fallout. The original pics are definitely out there then!

Funny how my mind works. Back then, Pearcy had an apartment on Fuller Avenue off Hollywood Boulevard and Robbin had a house at either 8620 or 8650 Grandview Drive, IIRC. It was fun hanging out with these dudes, even though I am certain I was totally unnoticed, just to see and hear all the drama going on.

However, the real insanity took place at Motley Crue's apartment on Clark Street. I wanna say it was 1134 or something like that. It was a totally wild scene every night, with some kind of craziness going on and cops being called on a regular basis.

The Roxy had an upstairs VIP lounge and everyone was always trying to crash the after hours parties there. It was the hippest place to be. We knew a chic who was bartending and we got into a lot of places we shouldn't have been...

Tracy G, I have seen a lot of the bands before they were famous, and shared the same stage with a lot more, but I have no dirt, remember I was married at the time 1982 !!

You will see a pretty good list of the bands that played there at the same time wise that we played their, our band is not on the lists.
We where called
Sorcerer
We played there quite a bit in 83.
