Reverb prices are out of control! I was there looking at pedals, I can buy band new £105 and on reverb same pedals go over £120 + shipping... same story with rest of the gear.... talking of stories, where are my bedtime stories? Ha? I want silly one eye snake takes revenge on his eye taker!

.... Ola Englund and Fluff pander to precisely this user segment. It doesn't help that they've shoehorned themselves into a very specific musical genre either.

I think it would be weirder if they catered to genre's outside of their music. Ola talks Jazz? Fluff on Country? Yeah, i don't think so.

The shipping rates on Reverb exploded this past year. Basically the overage costs on boxes longer than 45" (most guitar boxes that can hold a case as well are 48") are absolutely ridiculous. I stopped selling there because they hit me post facto with about $100 extra in shipping fees for 2 items that had been sold and delivered over a month earlier. They offered to reverse the charges, I accepted, and then they charged me anyways and never replied beyond that. That essentially ate up any profit I had made. Close the book.

You're going to pay a premium for the selection at Reverb. They have a lot, but it costs a lot to sell there.
