totally unpopular opinions.

Lol i can see by the retorts you have a dog in this fight for the other side, right?
I am a lawyer with lots of nice guitars. BUT I play them. I also live below my means and do most of my own physical work, and believe that keeping it simple is the key to happiness.

So my ultimate unpopular point: While excess can lead to bad places, it is better to manage excesses than shortages - of anything

Fair enough, decent counterpoint

Ray, you and I are operating on the same frequency. :dood:

Case in point:

unpopular opinion: having more that 100 rolls of TP in today’s environment is not a bad thing

I NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, EVER want to have to worry about where the next roll of TP is going to come from. 2020 will be remembered in the history books as a year so sh#tty that the country used up all its TP !

Lol... we were just talking about that. When this all started, my wife snagged a case of 96 rolls of TP. We gave some away as gifts...haha. it's been a year, we're down to the last 5 rolls.

Unpopular opinion 1: Being able to have anything you want, not because you need it, but just because you want it, does NOT suck.

Unpopular opinion 1: Being able to blow what most people make in a year on something frivolous does NOT suck. (This is why Ferrari is in business)

**Disclaimer: Both of the above actions may have adverse consequences on your character

Yes very good point. I am no lawyer or even intellect of some sort but I have a reasonable amount of guirars, amps and camera equipment. And I use it!
Over the last 2 years I bought a small Leica M10 system. That little camera bag full is likely worth more than many people pay for housing in a year. So excessive!
But I get a smile on my face when I use it! I also own no guns, ATVs, boats, motorbikes, RVs....ya put the money where you are gonna use it.
