But can also hit high 20s C (80s) by the end of May. Easily. Also can get snow. Sadly.I wish it were me. Look at their weather!
"What is the weather like in Alberta Canada in May?
Daily high temperatures increase by 7°F, from 58°F to 65°F, rarely falling below 44°F or exceeding 77°F. Daily low temperatures increase by 9°F, from 36°F to 45°F, rarely falling below 27°F or exceeding 52°F."
No, thanks! That's too hot.But can also hit high 20s C (80s) by the end of May. Easily. Also can get snow. Sadly.
Sorry! That's how it is. It can go up from there, I am only one province over amd summers can be dry n hot. At least not usually humid. We had 70 F the other day. On Tues it will be 34F and flurries. Sigh... you never know what you will get here. The boss hates heat too. Considering many people think we all live in igloos here, our AC goes on often by late April amd is used as required thrpugh Sept. No, thanks! That's too hot.![]()
Oh man. Sorry for that....
After seeing some of your pics, I'm sure it's a beautiful place to be.
I just really need as long a winter as possible. Oh, and a pet moose.
Oh, yeah! It was you I told I was packing my bags to move there, right? I think you posted the best snow pics. You are 10 hours from me...yikes! It sounds nice though. I'm sure I would be conent. You would be happy up around my place. Usually have snow on the ground from October through April. Maybe one or two hot weeks in July. A few years ago I saw guys snowmobiling and riding motorcycles on Memorial day.

Can get into 90s F for a week at a stretch in summer. Humidity is the killer!
Oh for sure. I ain't complainjng! Just that people do seem to think we all live in igloos amd wear mitts all year and it isn't like that. It gets warm here too. I hate high humidity and heat!!LMAO Jethro. Next to the deep south. we are damn humid here on the east coast US. It can get so bad in summer that our shirts look like they went swimming and are so stuck to our skin we need help getting them off. Or if you wake up and have a morning pee, then do our day's work outside, it might require 2 gallons of water to be consumed before bed time, and you sweat so much you will be lucky to have needed to pee one time since morning.
When the days go over 90 and the humidity is 70-90%, it is a wonder more people don't get heat stroke. One summer we were laying concrete block and it was almost 100 that week. When a concrete delivery man was there to pour footers, I mentioned how hot it seemed. At which he mentioned it was cool compared to where he just came from. Iraq war number 1. He said it got into the 120's over there. Kinda like the same scenario out in Death Valley California.
