Was watching this again today. I literally grew up on this movie, probably seen it nearly a 100x and it never gets old. One of the coolest guitar driven movies ever made with none other than the legendary Steve Vai and Ry Cooder playing their asses off.

I know @Ramo will hate Ralph Macchios guitar but it still rules lol

My favorite movie. One I can no longer tell people it's my favorite.

Why?

Because this happens every time:

"Hey, what's your favorite movie?"
"Crossroads"
".....what?!"
"yeah, why?"

"....never knew you were a Britney Spears fan."

"eww. no."

Lmao i know EXACTLY what you mean! I usually have to say " that movie with the Karate Kid who plays the blues and beats the Devil"

Was a big deal in my circle of friends to be sure.

I remember thinking that Steve Vai was about the coolest guy alive lol. Played with Zappa, had an education, and was the house guitarist for Beelzebub himself.
Absolutely! That was the first time for me ever seeing Steve Vai and despite never saying a word, he was kinda menacing looking to me as a kid, especially with the whole " Sold His Soul" aspect lol right after this, i saw the video for " The Audience Is Listening" on MTV and again, never speaking a word but rather having this lil kid act out what he was doing but in a classroom. I thought he was the coolest guitar player on planet earth and the first guy to dethrone EVH when i was kid ( it was a lil while until i realized he's an instrumental guitarist and never sung, so thats why he never spoke in videos or movies lol)

I Always thought the ending would have been cooler if: in a fit of rage, Steve Vai had thrust his guitar neck through Ralph Machio's chest. :bash:

Am I the only one? :guitar:
holy Tarantino! :pound-hand: :pound-hand:
