Got a radial Bigshot in the mail today, the old version that's not powered.

Set up a stereo rig with 2 of my half stacks. It's my first attempt at such a thing.... I watched a YouTube video where a guy set up a wicked tone with one amp fuzzy and thick and the other set tight. I was really impressed.

I still have that metal master pedal :)

I wonder how that ABY sorts out ground loop noise when running 2 amps.
I built a basic one and have to lift the ground on 1 amp or it is much noisier.
with an adapter like this:

I'll have to try it again with the noise gate pedal I just got, for experimentation purposes at least.
I dont think it will help, but....

heres my DIY not pretty but it works ABY (mostly used as a Mute):

These are such a great idea. I mean, pretty much all the best tones I have heard are multi-amp setups, so nice to have control over them.

Ground lift: Ground Loop
You can but,
The best way is to make patch cables with a lifted ground on one end. (simple to make)
One end of the shield (screen) is disconnected from one plug.
The other end of the cable - plug is wired normally.

The mains plug ground SHOULD be connected.
You should not use this

If you can help it.
Disconnecting the mains ground with an adapter is not the correct way or the safest way to stop a ground loop.

The ground can be lifted at the cables instead. --- which will stop the ground loop.
