BFT has/had one of these if im not mistakenFender had it's own Super Six amp with 6 X 10" speakers, and it was ridiculous to carry.
A real boat anchor.
I mean, why not 8X10" and finish the job for the chiropractic industry? They clearly lacked the vision to accomplish this benchmark...

This one is only 4 x 10" but look how clean it is for a 57 year old guitar amp.

That explains why I have not played my Marshall's for 20 years in public makes my back hurt looking at them.
Does that not have any side handles set in? Just a top pull handle?? Most of my 2x12s combos etc have the set in handles. Same with the little 6101 1x12. Dense little thing.
Nice thick Side straps & has mounts for castors. Tilts real easy into my vehicle.I have casters on all mine. Combos. A head and 2x12 isn't that bad. My Traynor 4x12 is 20 lbs heavier than a Marshall one!!

There were 6 of these made. Pete Townsend got 2, John Entwistle got 2 and the Faces got the last 2. The infamous and ultra rare Marshall 8x12. No one knows where any of the 6 are todayView attachment 62687

I’ve owned a couple of 4x10 combos but the heaviest, most awkward amp I’ve owned was a Vox AC15C2 2x12 at 75 lbs. It was a beast both tone wise and weight wise. I had to buy a cart to wheel it in and out of venues. Eventually I got tired of the hassle of moving it and sold it.

Ive heard that tale myself, sounds completely believable once you think of the sheer weight of them ! LolI read that the Who's roadies were really pissed off at both Townsend and Entwistle and sawed them in half after the first couple of times moving them.
I've got one of those! Great cabinet, especially with a JTM45.
